This class is broken up into three parts and covers all the basics of soldering, sawing and stone setting. All supplies are included in this class! You can make this fused glass suncatcher! Everything you need to create your own unique design, on a 2x6” or 4x4” piece of glass, will be supplied. There is no glass cutting involved. Explore mandala painting as a mindfulness-based creative practice. Through a brief introduction and guided drumming journey, participants access intuitive imagery and translate it into a personal mandala painting. Leave with a finished 12x12 painting and a repeatable process for deepening creativity and self-awareness.

Pallah Baker is an artist and transformational coach who has been painting since the age of seven. She guidesparticipants in using mandalas as a mindful, creative practice to access intuition, express inner stories, and connect with nature. Rooted in the belief that creativity is innate and that nature and intuition are powerful teachers, her workshops combine her teachings from the Ojibwe/Chippewa Traditions, and guided visualization with mandala painting in a process that is welcoming, engaging, and deeply personal.

Join Carmen Lewis and learn to create this 24 inch copper chain and add some Czech glass beads. We'll be using liver of sulfur to patina and steel wool polishing.

Annie Jaimes has been making crepe paper flowers since she was a small child. Her crepe paper flowers are in great demand and have been used in her art pieces, in weddings, Dia de LosMuertos events, Cinco de Mayo events, and more.

This class is a follow up to the Beginning Crepe Paper Flowers and will feature more intricate
flowers and paper manipulation.

This class will teach the art of wet felting to create a felted piece of fabric. This fabric can be an art piece on its own or used by the participant to create something else such as a purse or a wearable article.

Cindy Bell is a multimedia artist and has been involved in making wet felted art and objects for over 15 years.

Participants will learn the basics of needle felting onto cloth.
All supplies needed for this class are provided for participants including a needle felting kit and fabric. Participants can bring a piece of wool or denim clothing to decorate if desired. Previous attendees of the wet felting class may wish to bring that piece in for needle felting.
Class will be limited to six (6) participants.
Cindy Bell is a multimedia artist because she can’t settle for just one type of art (she’s a Gemini). She has been involved in making various fiber arts for over 20 years.

This is a two-session class. Participants will learn to warp a small loom, read a bead pattern, weave beads onto a loom, size a bracelet to one of three wrist sizes, add a clasp to the finished bracelet. Participants will take their work home following the first class and complete the weaving portion of their work. Participants will take their weaving off the loom and add the clasp during the second scheduled class. The fee includes all supplies for this class: Loom, beads, clasp, needles, thread, glue, original pattern.

Warp and weave a small rectangular loom using a cartoon (also known as a pattern).
APPROPRIATE FOR: Beginner or someone with basic weaving experience —- ages 14 and up.
All supplies needed for this class are provided for participants including a small loom. Learn the basics of loom weaving and various weaving techniques to make a pleasing piece of wall art.

This class will provide an introduction to basic loom weaving. Participants will warp a hoop and become familiar with different weaving techniques such as tabby, sumak, and rya. They will learn to plan ahead in choosing different weights and colors to form a pleasing piece of wall art.

This workshop will teach the basics of layering paper on various surfaces to create a collage. Use tissue paper from past gifts, magazines or calendars or anything with images to create your piece of art.
Class will be limited to eight (8) participants. Pre-registration is required.

Participants will learn to make a brick stitch ladder -triangle earring with
attached fringe on a shepherds hook. One earring will be completed in
class and participants will have enough supplies to complete a second
earring at home.

Students will learn to combine beads of several different sizes and colors to create a 4-5 strand bracelet sized to their own wrist. The project should be able to be completed in one class. All supplies needed for this class are provided including beads, needle, toggle, bead thread or fireline.
