Beginning Silversmithing
This class is broken up into three parts and covers all the basics of soldering, sawing and stone setting. All supplies are included in this class! We will be using sterling silver, fine silver, copper and brass with genuine stones. You will have completed two stacker rings and a pendant (valued at $110) by the end of this course! Three Saturdays from 9 - noon. $100 for the beginners class includes all materials and use of tools. Learn from a master and take home a beautiful stained glass work of art!

Breast Cancer Awareness Mannequins with Freeda Oct 17 9-3
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, come decorate a mannequin with various media. Class cost includes mannequin and all embellishments but feel free to bring anything of your own.! Both female and male mannequins are available. Please specify which one prior to class. The class is 9am-3pm so please bring a lunch. Snack and beverages will be supplied. Cost is $35 members/$40 non-members. Member use MEMBERS5OFF.
Freeda Lapos Babson’s art has been exhibited in museums, art galleries and libraries in Texas, WA and AZ for over 25 years. She has murals in public buildings such as Cancer Pathways (formerly Gilda’s Club Seattle), the Food Bank at St. Mary’s in Seattle and in private residences. She is a painter, mosaic artist, works in assemblage and more.
Beaded Spider Choker with Carmen Oct 24 10am-1pm
Celebrate Halloween by making a bead and wire spider on a velvet ribbon choker with Carmen Lewis. All materials and tools provided. The class fee is $30 but PEG Members get $5 off using code: MEMBERS5OFF. Class size is limited to 6 students. Pre-registration is required.
Tamale Making with Patty Smith Nov 12 1-4 pm
Come learn how to assemble and cook tamales. All supplies are provided and you will take home 1/2 dozen tamales to enjoy at home. Limited to 12 participants. Pre-registration required. Patty has 50 years of cooking experience, learning from her grandparents who owned La Fiesta Restaurant in Florence.

The Monthly Drum Circle with Doris Hagemann is open to any and all. Instruments from around the world provided or bring your own. No musical training required. Drop-ins welcome. No registration required. FREE!

Upcycled Tote Class - Cindy Bell
This is a MEMBERS FREE class!
Sew a tote bag from a chicken feed bag. It is helpful to have basic sewing skills but not necessary. We will teach you how to use a sewing machine. Participants will take home an upcycled tote bag.

Wet Felting - Cindy Bell
This class will teach the art of wet felting to create a felted piece of fabric. This fabric can be an art piece on its own or used by the participant to create something else such as a purse or a wearable article.
The cost covers all supplies.
Needle Felting - Cindy Bell
Participants will learn the basics of needle felting onto cloth.
All supplies needed for this class are provided for participants including a needle felting kit and fabric. Participants can bring a piece of wool or denim clothing to decorate if desired. Previous attendees of the wet felting class may wish to bring that piece in for needle felting.
Loom a Bracelet – Neola Bye-Beza
This is a two-session class. Participants will learn to warp a small loom, read a bead pattern, weave beads onto a loom, size a bracelet to one of three wrist sizes, add a clasp to the finished bracelet. Participants will take their work home following the first class and complete the weaving portion of their work. Participants will take their weaving off the loom and add the clasp during the second scheduled class. The fee includes all supplies for this class: Loom, beads, clasp, needles, thread, glue, original pattern.
Beginning Weaving Neola Bye-Beza
Warp and weave a small rectangular loom using a cartoon (also known as a pattern).
APPROPRIATE FOR: Beginner or someone with basic weaving experience —- ages 14 and up.
All supplies needed for this class are provided for participants including a small loom. Learn the basics of loom weaving and various weaving techniques to make a pleasing piece of wall art.
Hoop Weaving - Neola Bye-Beza
Hoop Weaving - Neola Bye-Beza
This class will provide an introduction to basic loom weaving. Participants will warp a hoop and become familiar with different weaving techniques such as tabby, sumak, and rya. They will learn to plan ahead in choosing different weights and colors to form a pleasing piece of wall art.
All supplies needed for this class are provided for participants.

Brick Stitch Fringe Beaded Earrings with Neola
Participants will learn to make a brick stitch ladder -triangle earring with
attached fringe on a shepherds hook. One earring will be completed in
class and participants will have enough supplies to complete a second
earring at home.

Beaded Multi-strand Bracelet
Students will learn to combine beads of several different sizes and colors to create a 4-5 strand bracelet sized to their own wrist. The project should be able to be completed in one class. All supplies needed for this class are provided including beads, needle, toggle, bead thread or fireline.
