Sardine Can Mosaics

Bring your sardine or smoked oyster (or whatever) cans and make some mosaics. We'll have the glass and tools and a bit of know how, but we'll all be learning this together. $15. Class limited to six students. We'll be doing this again if it works out. Should be fun! (And you don't have to be here all five hours.)

Come and make this pretty copper coil bracelet made with 18 gauge copper wire which is easy to work with. We'll be using liver of sulfur to patina and steel wool to polish. It can get a little messy so dress casually.

Loom-woven Beaded Bracelet
This is a two-session class.
This class will be held on two days, one week apart,. Students will learn to warp a small loom, read a bead pattern, weave beads onto a loom, size a bracelet to one of three wrist sizes, and add a clasp to the finished bracelet. Fee includes five hours of instruction (over the two days), loom, beads, clasp, needles, thread, glue, and original pattern. Neola Bye-Beza is a local weaving/beading artist who has taught classes in California and Arizona. Her creative works can be seen on Facebook at Weaves and Beads 4 Wine. She is a member of the Casa Grande Art Association and a member of the PEG Arts Center in Florence.
Needle Felting with Cindy Bell

Participants will learn the basics of needle felting onto cloth.
All supplies needed for this class are provided for participants including a needle felting kit and fabric. Participants can bring a piece of wool or denim clothing to decorate if desired. Previous attendees of the wet felting class may wish to bring that piece in for needle felting.

Rust Dyed Fabric with Neola

Silk Scarf Dyeing Class with Eileen Landau

Create a dyed silk scarf limited only by your imagination! No previous experience required.
The class fee of $40 covers instruction, one scarf, dyes, and other supplies necessary to produce your own colorful, wearable scarf.
Dyeing is messy work, please wear old clothes and an apron. An empty, clean yogurt container or two would be appreciated as well.

Freeda Lapos Babson’s art has been exhibited in museums, art galleries and libraries in Texas, WA and AZ for over 25 years. She is a painter, mosaic artist, works in assemblage and more.
Antiqued Copper Chain with Czech Glass Beads

Mandala Story Workshop with Pallah (2 sessions)

Explore mandala painting as a mindfulness-based creative practice. Through a brief introduction and guided drumming journey, participants access intuitive imagery and translate it into a personal mandala painting. Leave with a finished 12x12 painting and a repeatable process for deepening creativity and self-awareness.

Pallah Baker is an artist and transformational coach who has been painting since the age of seven. She guidesparticipants in using mandalas as a mindful, creative practice to access intuition, express inner stories, and connect with nature. Rooted in the belief that creativity is innate and that nature and intuition are powerful teachers, her workshops combine her teachings from the Ojibwe/Chippewa Traditions, and guided visualization with mandala painting in a process that is welcoming, engaging, and deeply personal.

Upcycled Chicken Feed Tote with Cindy Bell

This is a MEMBERS FREE class, all others pay $10.00.
Sew a tote bag from a chicken feed bag. It is helpful to have basic sewing skills but not necessary. We will teach you how to use a sewing machine. Participants will take home an upcycled tote bag.
All supplies needed for this class are provided by PEG Arts Center, however, we only have 3 sewing machines available. If you have a portable machine, please bring it. Limited to six (6) participants.
